Hotel Receptionist 70% – First Hotel Brommaplan

First Hotel Brommaplan is now looking for a hotel receptionist for a 70% position. With us, you will have a varied and developing role in an engaged team with close collaboration and short decision-making paths.

About us

First Hotel Brommaplan is a charming and family-friendly hotel with 68 rooms and conference facilities, located right next to Brommaplan subway station. The hotel has been around since 1957 and is now a well-established player in western Stockholm. In 2018, we were awarded "Franchise Hotel of the Year" within First Hotels.

About the role

As a hotel receptionist, you are our face to the outside world and play a key role in the guests' experience – from first contact to check-out. The position is 70% and is scheduled for both weekdays and weekends. Shifts are during the day (06:00–14:00) and evening (14:00–22:00). Every other weekend.

Examples of tasks:

• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Handling bookings via phone, email, and booking systems
• Guest service on-site and via phone/email
• Administrative tasks related to the reception
• Ensuring that the reception area is welcoming and tidy

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a good sense of service and enjoys creating great guest experiences
• Thrives with varied tasks and can switch pace
• Is structured, meticulous, and self-driven
• Has good computer skills and preferably experience with hotel booking systems (we use Stayntouch as PMS)
• Speaks Swedish and English fluently, additional languages are a plus
• Has previous experience from hotel reception or similar service role
• Sees this as a long-term plan in life, not just something for a shorter period
